Processing Big Changes: Grief and Loss During COVID-19
When the COVID-19 pandemic first hit, lives changed almost overnight. What we originally thought was going to be just a few weeks turned into over a year of deep uncertainty, pain, and grief for many. As the world starts to open back up, most people are still grappling with a number of losses – loved ones, social connections, the normalcy of our pre-pandemic lives, and more.
Even as we get back to “normal,” life will look very different than it did just two years ago. This is a big shift for our brains to handle, and it can bring up a lot of emotions.
Join us for this 60-minute webinar where we will discuss:
- Grief in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic;
- How to process grief and loss from COVID-19; and
- Strategies for improving mental health and creating your new future.
This webinar will be recorded and available to the public within one week. We do not offer CEUs, but certificates of attendance will be available after the event.
Meet the Speakers
Dan Pierce and Bianca Bee are the founders of Mentally Fit. Dan and Bianca started their company due to their own experiences with mental health growing up and wanting others like themselves to have more access to support, resources, and education. Bianca grew up in the church in Florida, where she received most of her mental health support. Dan struggled with addiction and mental illness from a young age – he saw his first therapist by age 11 and started attending addiction treatment programs at age 15. Together, the pair started Mentally Fit as part of a mission to “bridge the gap” in mental health, making it affordable, accessible, and relatable for people worldwide.
