This website with its home page in the domain www.mhanational.org (the "Site") is a complimentary information service offered by Mental Health America at no charge to users of the World Wide Web, with the express condition that these users agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in these Terms of Use. Mental Health America reserves the right to change these terms and conditions any time, and you must consult the most recent version of these Terms of Use (not an older cached version) each time you view the Site. Use of this Site constitutes your acceptance of all of the following terms and conditions, including our Privacy Policy.

We want our Community to be a safe, comfortable, and friendly environment. We can remove any messages or solicitations that do not meet the standards of these Terms and Conditions. Mental Health America reserves the right to immediately terminate a user's registration if we become aware and determine that the user is violating any of these Terms and Conditions or any of the chat and discussion board guidelines as enumerated therein.
Commercial solicitation, chain letters, junk mail, "spam", non-commercial or bulk solicitation, and/or content that infringes the copyrights or rights of privacy or publicity of others are all prohibited.
Threatening, harassing, libelous, defamatory, vulgar, profane, obscene, abusive, harmful, sexually oriented, racially offensive, inaccurate, or otherwise objectionable material of any kind or nature, is prohibited.
Unlawful material, or any material that encourages or promotes conduct that constitutes a criminal offense, or might give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, Federal or international law or regulation, or encourage the use of controlled substances, is prohibited. Hate Speech Policy
MHA does not condone or offer a platform for hate speech. We will not tolerate it or permit its use on platforms of ours. We reserve the right to delete or refuse to permit language that we find offensive. This includes, but is not limited to, any or all references that in our judgment are derogatory to people of any race, class, ethnicity, culture, gender, age, profession, orientation, or any population category included in state or federal civil rights legislation, whether or not the language or terms used may have been considered acceptable at some other time, in some other place, or by some other population. It also includes any language that would incite people toward violence toward or harassment of others.

You acknowledge that the opinions and recommendations contained in this Site are not necessarily those of Mental Health America or endorsed by Mental Health America. Content Usage Policy
Unless otherwise indicated, all information contained on our Site www.mhanational.org or in written form including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, photographs, video or audio clips is copyrighted by and proprietary to Mental Health America or owned by and provided by one of our partners and may not be copied, reproduced, transmitted, displayed, performed, distributed, sublicensed, altered, stored for subsequent use or otherwise used in whole or in part any manner without Mental Health America’s prior written consent (or the written consent of our partners), except that the user may make such temporary copies in a single computer’s RAM and hard drive cache as are necessary to browse the Site, and the user may make one permanent copy of each page of the Site, brochure or booklet to be used by the user for personal and noncommercial uses. Unless language on our Site expressly permits certain copying or sharing rights of particular downloadable materials, to obtain written consent to use any material on or accessible through our Site, you will need to receive our consent through a permissions agreement.
