Communities of Arab descent
Communities of Arab descent are a growing population in the U.S., and come from a diverse variety of backgrounds and belief systems. It is unknown exactly how many individuals within Arab American communities live with mental health conditions as they are vastly underrepresented in research. We continue to advocate for greater research and support of Arab communities.

Some government and academic data cited may use "Middle Eastern and North African (MENA)" or "Arab, Middle Eastern, Muslim, South Asian (AMEMSA)" communities.
