Anna Mendez joined Partner for Mental Health as Executive Director in 2016 after a decade of providing and managing mental health services. Before coming to Charlottesville, Anna was the Director of Consumer Affairs for a regional public mental health authority where she worked to develop a recovery oriented and trauma informed continuum of mental health services. Anna is currently serving on the Board of the Charlottesville-Albemarle Mental Health Therapeutic Docket, and is the Board president of Mental Health America of Virginia where she also serves as chair of the policy committee.
